Sala Technology was founded in 2009 by Pierangelo e Marco Sala, skilled designers and manufacturers of special machines for the meat processing industry.
The history of Sala Technology starts in 1965 when Pierangelo, after an extensive professional experience in South America, comes back to Italy and decides to open a grocer’s shop in his birth town. Pierangelo’s small grocery meets with success and soon after, it grows bigger and bigger until it becomes an important point of reference for the sale of meat and salamis. As a real gourmet, Pierangelo soon starts preparing the salamis himself. His mechanical education and a real passion for meat processing make him develop his first equipment to mechanize the processing of salamis.
In 1981, together with two colleagues and friends, Pierangelo establishes the company Tecno Brianza Brevetti, in which he engages his son Marco, who has just finished his mechanical studies. Marco works his way up with enthusiasm and determination and after a while he becomes, with his father Pierangelo, responsible for design and production.
In 2009 Pierangelo and Marco decide to leave Tecnobrianza and start up a new company specialized in the design and production of – fully made in Italy – tying and clipping machines as well as automatic and half-automatic tying and clipping lines.
